Pig Beach Adding Indoor Space For Wintertime: Report

The massive outdoor barbecue space is getting a permanent indoor home for the wintertime.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — Pig Beach, the massive outdoor barbecue joint in Gowanus, is getting some permanent indoor space to serve customers in the winter time, according to a report from Eater.

Pig Beach will take over the 7,000 square foot warehouse space next door to its current home, on Union Street just west of the canal, where it will be able to hold more than 170 people, Eater reports.

Once it's open, customers will have to go through the indoor space to get outside, to the large area lined with picnic tables, according to Eater. The space is set to open next Tuesday, Sept. 23, Eater says.
