Gold Coast Arts Offers VacationArts Program During Holiday Recess
Classes to take place from December 26th through 29th
GREAT NECK, NY — December 4, 2017 — The holidays are fast-approaching, and the Gold Coast Arts Center invites schoolchildren to celebrate the arts! The prospect of holiday recess excites many children, but their lack of structured activities during this time often leaves parents struggling to find a meaningful and enriching experience for their children while off from school. The Gold Coast Arts Center’s School For The Arts once-again offers its popular VacationArts program on no-school days for children in pre-K through seventh grade.
This year’s holiday program will be held on December 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children can attend one or more of these days, and participate in stimulating activities including art, music, chess, acting, and dance sessions, all of which are taught by experienced instructors. Each day of VacationArts is full of artful activities and is held in a professional and creative environment. Children leave the Arts Center each day feeling inspired, confident and accomplished.
“After experiencing one day at the Arts Center, children want to spend their whole vacation here,” says Ellen Schiff, Director, School For the Arts.
