Great Neck Public Schools Budget Vote 2020: Results Announced
Great Neck Public Schools has counted the ballots for the proposed 2020-21 budget. Here are the totals.

GREAT NECK, NY — Great Neck Public Schools has a new budget, and results were also announced in the Board of Education election.
The proposed 2020-21 budget easily passed Tuesday with 3,709 votes in favor to 1,894 against.

- 2020-21 proposed budget: $241.4 million
- 2019-20 budget: $234.4 million
- Budget increase (percent): 2.98 percent

In the Board of Education election, Rebecca Sassouni defeated John Jahng and Jeffrey Shi was re-elected after running unopposed. Sassouni and Shi will each serve three-year terms.
