Great Neck School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacation

GREAT NECK, NY — The first day of school in Great Neck is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Great Neck School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/5: No School (Conference Day)
• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)

April

• 4/18 - 4/26: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/26: Last Day of School
