
The National Weather Service has issued the following hazardous weather outlook for Long Island:
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon into Thursday night, mainly across the interior. Some of these storms may be capable of producing damaging winds.

Wednesday- Sunny, with a high near 70. Light northwest wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night- Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. South wind around 7 mph.
Thursday- A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. South wind 8 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night- A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 58. West wind 11 to 14 mph.
Friday- Sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
Friday Night- Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
Saturday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.
Saturday Night- A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.
Sunday- Partly sunny, with a high near 78.
