LI Man Dies From Coronavirus; His Twin Died Of Spanish Flu

Philip Kahn died at 100 years old after contracting the new coronavirus. His twin brother died in 1919 during the Spanish Flu pandemic.

WEST BABYLON, NY — One of the people lost to the coronavirus on Long Island was a man whose twin brother died a century ago because of another pandemic.

Too often now, heroes of another era are being laid to rest with little fanfare.
