N. Hempstead Honors Arts Matter! Juried Photo Contest Winners
The top three winners are from Glen Head, Great Neck and Sands Point, respectively.
The Town of North Hempstead honored the local artists who participated in the third annual Arts Matter! Juried Photo Contest.
The contest’s exhibit features photographs that showcase the environmental aspects of the Town of North Hempstead. The exhibit will be on display at Town Hall in Manhasset from July 10 through August 31. The exhibit is open to the public.

- First Place: Thomas D’Emic of Glen Head “Low Tide Shore Line Trail”
- Second Place: D.D. Prince of Great Neck “Farmer’s Market”
- Third Place: Marvin Rostolder of Sands Point “Robbin Red Breast w-Chicks”
Town officials presented participants with certificates for their submissions and the Town’s Arts Advisory Committee presented awards for the first, second and third place winners.
