Police Searching For Great Neck Woman, 83

UPDATE: Eighty-three-year-old Atsuko Horiuchi has been located, Nassau County police said Wednesday.

GREAT NECK, NY — Detectives from the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad are searching for a missing Great Neck woman.

Detectives said Atsuko Horiuchi, 83, suffers from a cognitive disorder and was last seen on Great Neck Road in Great Neck at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

She was reported missing to police at about 10 p.m. on Monday, police said.

Horiuchi is described as an Asian woman, who stands about 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 100 lbs, police said. She has black eyes and long gray hair, and she was wearing a purple jacket, black pants and black shoes, according to police.
