Town of North Hempstead Thanks Westbury Home Depot For PPE Donations

The Town of North Hempstead welcomed store managers Andrew Carbone and Cheryl Berman from the local Westbury Home Depot.

North Hempstead, NY – The Town of North Hempstead welcomed store managers Andrew Carbone and Cheryl Berman from the local Westbury Home Depot to the “Yes We Can” Community Center on January 18 as they donated a supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff at the Center.

“We are so thankful to Home Depot in Westbury for their kind donation of PPE to the ‘Yes We Can’ Community Center,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “This donation will go a long way to help keep everyone safe as we continue the battle against COVID-19.”

Donations included face masks, hand sanitizer, latex gloves, thermal thermometer, sanitizing spray, and hand soap. Town officials including Council Member Viviana Russell, Council Member Peter Zuckerman, Council Member Mariann Dalimonte, Town Clerk Wayne Wink, and the Executive Director of the “Yes We Can” Community Center Tyronza Murray were on hand to accept the items.
