Town Of North Hempstead Will Provide Free Hearing Screenings
The screenings are free, and appointments aren't necessary. Look for the location nearest to you.

TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — The Town of North Hempstead has announced a partnership with the Center for Hearing Health at Mill Neck for use of the center’s Audiology Van. The Center will be providing free hearing screenings on dates provided below, with certain dates featuring the St. Francis Cardiac Van in addition.
The screenings will be free, and appointments are not necessary. The mobile unit is fully equipped and handicapped accessible. The mobile audiology van will provide health screenings for many people as possible in both Nassau and Suffolk counties.
- Tuesday, September 24 - 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Fuschillo Park Carle Road at Broadmoor Lane, Carle Place
- Tuesday, October 8 - 10 a.m.– 2 p.m. at Clinton G Martin Park 1601 Marcus Ave, New Hyde Park, NY 11040
- Thursday, October 17, 2019 -- 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Port Washington Senior Center 80 Manorhaven Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050
- Thursday, October 24, 2019 -- 10a.m. – 2 p.m. at Magnolia Gardens 899 Broadway, Westbury
- Monday, November 4 -- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center 141 Garden Street, Westbury
- Thursday, December 5 -- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Great Neck Social Center 80 Grace Avenue, Great Neck
- Tuesday, December 10 -- 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Sid Jacobson JCC 300 Forest Drive, East Hills
- Thursday, December 12 -- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Manhasset Valley Residence 155 East Shore Rd, Manhasset
"The Town is proud to be partnering with the Center for Hearing Health at Mill Neck to provide these free hearing screenings at no cost for our residents," said Supervisor Judi Bosworth via press release. "With multiple locations throughout the Town, we hope to help provide easy access to high quality healthcare."
