The annual "National Night Out" was held at Great Neck's Jonathan L. Ielpi Firefighters Park on Aug. 5. The crime and drug prevention rally, held each year in communities across the U.S. on the first Tuesday in August, was part of the Village of Great Neck Plaza's Music in the Park Festival.Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Councilwoman Lee Seeman attended the event. "The Nassau County Police Department does a remarkable job at 'National Night Out' educating our residents and engaging them in meaningful discussions about public safety in our communities," said Bosworth.
