Trio Charged In North Hills Burglary: PD
Nassau police said they climbed inside the window of a home on National Court back in March.

NORTH HILLS, NY — Three people, including a Brooklyn woman and two men from Chile, have been charged with breaking into a North Hills home back in March, Nassau County police said Thursday.
Detectives said Kathleen Velez, 31, of Brooklyn; and Kevin Rojo Rojo, 21, and Nicolas Huenul-Duran, 23, two men whose last known addresses are Santiago, Chile, were charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, in connection with a break-in at a home on National Court just after 8 p.m. on March 19.
The trio gained access to the home by breaking a window, then used it to climb inside and removed “items,” according to a police spokesman. He would not disclose if anyone was in the home at the time. The burglary is part of an “active investigation,” police said.
