
A woman was thrown to the ground and robbed on Thursday night in Great Neck, according to Nassau County Police.
The 44-year-old victim was walking near Wood Road and Arrandale Ave. when she was grabbed from behind, according to police. She was robbed of her backpacks, which had an unknown amount of cash in it at 10:30p.m.
The robber then fled wesbound on foot on Polo Road. Police are looking for a Hispanic male of thin build, approximately age 30, in connection with the crime. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a short sleeve black tee shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.Â
