Apollo Theater Hands Out 22 Micro-Grants To Harlem Entrepreneurs

Last month, the Apollo Theater announced it would be offering twenty $1,000 micro-grants to local merchants that define the culture and the vitality of Harlem, in collaboration with 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID) and Harlem Commonwealth Council (HCC). Today, the Apollo Theater and its partners are excited to share the recipients of these micro-grants, which they increased from 20 to 22 due to the strength of the applications, and in an effort to sustain the local businesses that make Harlem one of New York’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
