Man, Woman Shot On 125th Street In Broad Daylight, Police Say
Two people were shot in broad daylight on the Central Harlem street Tuesday afternoon, possibly by scooter-riding assailants, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man and a woman were shot on 125th Street in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
The two victims were in front of 209 West 125th St., just west of Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd., shortly before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when two people riding on a scooter shot at them, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Both the man and the woman were shot in the leg but were expected to survive, police said. Authorities had no further details about their condition.

The assailants may have been teenagers, police said, though a spokesperson cautioned that information was still preliminary.
Videos posted to the Citizen app showed police vehicles and caution tape surrounding the 125th Street block, all the way to the corner of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard.
