HARLEM, NY — Dozens of Harlem restaurants and small businesses will be offering special deals and promotions in early March for the spring 2020 Harlem Restaurant Week, organizers said. The annual promotion showcases Harlem mom-and-pop eateries that often get overlooked by New York City's "official" restaurant week.

Harlem Restaurant Week begins March 1 and runs through March 15, organizers said. Many participating businesses are offering lunch special deals under $10 and the rest are offering discounted prixe fixe menus. Some restaurants that are participating include Harlem staples such as Sylvia's and newer eateries such as Red Rooster, Teranga and Field Trip.

Ten retail businesses are also offering special deals for the two weeks. Some of these deals include an $11 four-pack of cupcakes from Baked Cravings, $10 off class packages at Harlem Yoga Studio and a special walking tour by the Harlem Heritage Tourism and Cultural Center.
