Harlem's New Uptown Night Market: Here Are The Vendors Joining

The new open-air market coming to West Harlem is set to begin later this summer. Six vendors have already been announced.

HARLEM, NY — Organizers shared new details this week about the vendors set to participate in the Uptown Night Market: a new event coming to West Harlem later this summer.

The market will begin July 8 — a month later than the original start date — and run on the second Thursday of every month through Nov. 11, later than originally scheduled.

It will be held on 12th Avenue and West 138th Street, below Riverside Drive.

The vendor details were first reported by the Curious Uptowner.

The open-air market, described as a "global celebration of cuisine, community, and culture," was organized by MASC Hospitality Group — the people behind the popular Bronx Night Market.

It was organized in partnership with Harlem Park to Park, the West Harlem Development Corporation and Harlem Late Night Jazz.

Visitors can RSVP now on Eventbrite, and prospective vendors can apply too. Organizers ultimately hope to enlist more than 50 minority-owned small businesses from the neighborhood and throughout the city.
