Man, 77, Reported Missing In Harlem
Police asked for help finding a 77-year-old man who went missing from his West Harlem home earlier this week.

HARLEM, NY — Police asked for help Thursday finding a 77-year-old man who went missing from his Harlem residence two days earlier.
Benny Martinez, 77, was last seen around 10:42 p.m. Tuesday leaving his home at 630 Riverside Dr., near West 140th Street — the site of the Fortune Academy residence for formerly incarcerated people.
Martinez was described as about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with a thin build, light complexion, brown eyes and a handlebar mustache. He was last seen wearing a black hat, eyeglasses, a red jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police shared a photo of Martinez and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
