Victim Slashed After Fight With Two Men at 125th Street Station

The 42-year-old man was treated at a nearby hospital after receiving cuts on both of his hands, police said. The suspects are at large.

HARLEM, NY — A subway rider was slashed on both of his hands after getting into an argument with two men at the 125th and Lenox Avenue station late Tuesday.

According to the NYPD, a 42-year-old man got into a dispute just after 9 p.m. with two fellow passengers on a train and then was cut by one of the men on the subway platform of the 2, 3 train stop.

The man walked to Harlem Hospital 10 blocks north of the station and was treated for his injuries, police said.

The police said the two suspects fled after cutting the victim — one running up to the street and the other jumping on a train.

The police released information on Wednesday about the suspect accused of slashing the passenger. He is described as black, about 16 years old, 5-foot-5, 140 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, gray sweatpants and red and black sneakers.
