Manhattan Borough Pres To Host Virtual Small Business Town Hall

Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer will host the event with Columbia University's Harlem Small Business Development Center.

HARLEM, NY — Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer will host a town hall event for small business owners hurt by the economic toll of the new coronavirus with the help of business leaders in Harlem and throughout the city.

Brewer will moderate the event, held with the Columbia University Harlem Small Business Development Center, which will feature speakers from organizations such as the NY Women's Chamber of Commerce, the city Department of Small Business Services, the NYC Hospitality Alliance and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The town hall will be held on Monday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m.

The event will focus on the resources available to New York City-based small business that have been forced to either shut down or withstand revenue losses due to a state-mandated shutdown of nonessential business.
