Spectrum Opens New Uptown Storefront

The new store is the internet service provider's seventh brick-and-mortar location in Manhattan.

HAMILTON HEIGHTS, NY — Internet and cable provider Spectrum opened a new store in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Hamilton Heights, the company announced this week.

The new store offers Spectrum customers a physical space to talk face-to-face with company employees about internet, cable and phone plans. The store, Spectrum's seventh in Manhattan, is located on Broadway between West 146th and 147th streets in a ground-floor retail space in the former Hamilton Theater.

"Our new Spectrum stores provide an updated design and enhancements for showcasing innovation across the full suite of Spectrum services," Pattie Eliason, Group Vice President of Spectrum Stores, said in a statement.

The store also has information on Spectrum's new "Spectrum Mobile" offering. The service boasts prices that are 40 percent cheaper than other national mobile for unlimited data plans, a company official said. All of Spectrum's services are available to sample while customers are in the store.

Spectrum customers will also be able to pay their bills and exchange equipment at the new store, a company official said.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to a press release. Other Spectrum stores are located in neighborhoods such as Washington Heights, the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side and Harlem.
