Teenager Shot by Assailant Half Block From Police Station in East Harlem

A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg by an unknown person early Tuesday morning just a half block from the 25th Precinct headquarters.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg by an unknown person early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at the corner of East 119th Street and Lexington Avenue after midnight in East Harlem, police said. The victim took himself to the hospital where he is in stable condition.

The shooting happened just a half a block from the 25th Precinct headquarters at 120 E. 119th St.

Police are still investigating the details of the shooting, but said the suspect didn't known his attacker.
