Connections4Hire, an Islandia-based business development firm, recently hosted Long Island Business leaders at a Sponsor-A-Family networking event that collected 2,446 pounds of food and raised approximately $1,500.00 to benefit Island Harvest Food Bank. The combined donations will help provide more than 4,100 meals for Long Islanders struggling with hunger and food insecurity during the holidays.

“We are extremely grateful to Adam and Lara Holtzer of Connections4Hire for their caring and generosity,” said Randi Shubin Dresner, president and CEO, Island Harvest Food Bank. “Valued partnerships like with Connections4Hire are having a positive impact in the lives of the people we serve while helping to bring the issue of hunger on Long Island to the forefront.”

“I was inspired to bring together my network of business leaders from across Nassau and Suffolk counties whom I knew would be able to help. I am grateful to them for taking part in such an important effort, especially at the holidays,” said Adam Holtzer, founder of Connections4Hire. “This is proof that when we each do a little, we can accomplish a lot.”
