Couple Seeking Justice After Man Allegedly Kills Their Pit Bull
The man was charged by police with animal cruelty and is due back in court in September.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A Hauppauge couple is looking for justice after claiming a neighbor killed their pit bull last week.
According to Suffolk Police, Huynh Toquoc was on North Dorado Circle on Sunday with his Shih Tzu Soojie, who was off-leash, when the pit bull, Rex, approached and caused Toquoc to remove his dog from the area.
Then another dog that has a different owner, Quincy, a golden doodle who was off leash, jumped on Rex, who put Quincy’s neck in its mouth, police said.

Toquoc is due in court on September 12. The SPCA was notified.
Following the attack, Rex's owners, Dominic Primerano and Elana Greenfield, are saying they are seeking justice.

Through the Facebook page and a Change.org petition, both named "Justice for Rex," the couple shared their side of the story claiming they were attacked by the two dogs.
The two also say Toquoc threatened their lives and shouted, "He's a pit bull, I have to kill him."
"The man then tossed Rex's lifeless body to the ground and smiled proudly," a statement from the couple reads.
Greenfield then tried to administer CPR to Rex but unfortunately it was too late.
"The incident was reported to the apartment complex as these dogs were not leashed in a leash law complex, but they were basically told there was nothing they could do," they wrote.
The couple states they created the Facebook page and online petition to get justice For Rex.
"The man that murdered this innocent dog got to walk free, the man who has the dog that attacked two innocent people get to walk free, while [Primerano and Greenfield] have to go home without their baby."
The petition has already received 3,588 signatures while the Facebook page has over 800 'Likes.'
