HAUPPAUGE, NY — This week has seen Town of Smithtown employees performing routine Park & Beach maintenance, undertaking major renovations and repairs to the roads, facilities and public amenities, according to the Town.

The Town's Traffic Safety Department will perform an in-house traffic signal rebuild at Grandview Lane & Old Willets Path this week.

As the New Highway & Adams Avenue road widening project continues, the Traffic Safety Department will be pouring foundations for traffic signals at Marcus Avenue and New Highway starting next week.
The project, which includes new sidewalks, modern traffic signals, energy-efficient lighting, landscaping and signs, will offer safer roads for vehicles to share with bicyclists, runners and pedestrians.
