Hauppauge School Budget Results Are In

Hauppauge residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Hauppauge residents approved the district's $113,351,328 proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 652 to 306.

The budget represents a 2.46 percent spending increase over the current year and a tax levy increase of 2.88 percent.

In the vote for Hauppauge Board of Education members, both Michael Buscarino and Stacey Weisberg ran unopposed. Buscarino received a total of 706 votes and Weisberg received 655 votes.
