Hauppauge School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

HAUPPAUGE, NY— The first day of school in Hauppauge is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Hauppauge School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/5: First Day of School
• 9/10-9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/6: Superintendent's Conference Day
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/22-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Years Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday)

February

• 2/18-2/22: No School (Mid-Winter Recess)

April

• 4/18-4/26: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/24-5/27: No School (Memorial Day Weekend)

June

• 6/26: Last Day of School
