Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Long Island; Stormy Times Ahead
Will Father's Day be a washout? We'll let you know.

Five straight days with a chance of thunderstorms in the forecast. That's what we will be dealing with on Long Island beginning on Saturday.
Now Father's Day weekend, which will feature a return to warm and humid conditions, could very well go by without a raindrop falling. There's a 30 percent chance of rain during the day Saturday and then a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms from Saturday night through Sunday night. If any thunderstorms do end up rolling through, though, they could produce heavy rain.
A better shot of thunderstorms will come at the start of the workweek. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Long Island, warning that there is a "slight risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding" on Monday.
