Long Island Weather: Hour-By-Hour Snow Forecast
Check out the hour-by-hour snowy forecast before you hit the road this morning and take it slow on the roads.

Long Island is under a winter weather advisory from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday with 2-3 inches of snow expected to accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.
"Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Thursday," the advisory says.
There's about a 50 percent chance of more than 2 inches of snow for most parts of the island.

"There could be locally higher amounts with any enhancement or banding on Long Island, so it would not be surprising if a few spots reach closer to 4 inches," the NWS said in a forecast discussion Wednesday night.

Thursday- Snow, mainly before 9am. High near 35. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. North wind 6 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 17. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind 6 to 15 mph.
Friday- Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
Friday Night- A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 29. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. West wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Saturday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Saturday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 24.
Sunday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 39.
