Man Robs Suffolk 7-Eleven Clerk At Knifepoint: Police
The man couldn't open the register, but he stole cigarettes, police say. Have you seen him?

ISLANDIA, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say robbed an Islandia store earlier in May.
A man showed a knife and demanded money from a clerk at 7-Eleven, at 1700 Veterans Memorial Highway around 1 a.m. May 11, police said. The robber failed to open the register, but stole Newport cigarettes, police said. He ran off west on Veterans Memorial Highway, police said. The man is wanted for robbery.
Police described the man as black, in his mid 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
