Man Seriously Injured In Islandia Crash: Police
The 23-year-old's car overturned after a collision Wednesday evening, police say.

ISLANDIA, NY — A 23-year-old Brentwood man was seriously injured in a car crash Wednesday night in Islandia, and Suffolk County detectives are investigating.
The man was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer south on Veteran’s Memorial Highway when he collided with a 2012 Honda CRV at the intersection of East Suffolk Avenue around 6:45 p.m., police said. The Chevrolet overturned.
The man was brought to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda, a 68-year-old man, and an adult passenger in each car, were also brought to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives ask anyone with information on the crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
