National Night Out Against Crime Returns on August 5

The 31st anniversary of the event will take place on August 5 at the Target on Veterans Memorial Highway

The Suffolk County Police Department’s Fourth Precinct invites you out to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the National Night Out Against Crime, taking place on Tuesday, August 5 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The free family event will be held at the Target store at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack. There will be many activities available for kids, including finger-painting, a bouncy house, a dunk tank, and refreshments. There will also be a meet-and-greet with local law enforcement, armed forces, and fire personnel. The American Red Cross, S.P.C.A., fire trucks, emergency police vehicles will also be present.
