New Doctors for ENT and Allergy Associates in Hoboken & Hauppauge

Tarrytown, N.Y. (October 9, 2018) – ENT and Allergy Associates LLP (ENTA), the nation’s preeminent otolaryngology specialty and sub-specialty practice is proud to announce two additions to its roster of physicians: Hollin E. Calloway, M.D. and Anthony P. Alessi, M.D. The practice will now have more than 205 physicians, a combination of otolaryngologists and allergists. The introduction of Dr. Calloway and Dr. Alessi reinforces ENTA’s growth and continued geographic expansion across its tri-state footprint. ENTA is the largest practice of its kind in the nation and is celebrating its 20-year milestone this year.

Beginning January 1, 2019, Dr. Calloway will serve patient needs full-time at ENTA’s Hoboken office in New Jersey, located at 79 Hudson Street. Starting September 1, 2019, Dr. Alessi will begin treating patients full-time at the Hauppauge office in Long Island, located at 2929 Expressway Drive North.

Dr. Calloway is an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon, specializing in diseases related to the ear, nose and throat. She received undergraduate degrees in fine arts and mathematics from Dartmouth College and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at Irvine. Dr. Calloway has held many leadership positions, authored book chapters, and has been featured in many publications. She has also spoken at national and international meetings for projects in both ear, nose and throat, and facial plastic surgery.

Born and raised in Long Island, Dr. Alessi is joining ENTA upon the completion of his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, where he graduated summa cum laude and majored in biology. He went on to complete his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where he graduated first in his class. Dr. Alessi treats all adult and pediatric disorders of the ear, nose and throat. He has been awarded and recognized for his dedication to clinical care throughout his training and has presented his research at national meetings. Dr. Alessi is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
