Newly Renovated Islandia Pizzeria Reopens Following Blaze

ISLANDIA, NY - An Islandia pizzeria reopened this week after a 7-month closure following a damaging fire last year.

La Slice Pizzeria, located on 1826 Veterans Highway, announced a grand reopening held on Tuesday.

The business, which opened in 2014, shut down after it was damaged in a blaze last September. La Slice announced on its Facebook page it was temporarily closed down in October.

After months of renovations, the eatery finally opened its doors once again.

The restaurant's hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays until 11 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
