Premier Fixtures, LLC Closes
The Suffolk-based manufacturer closed, leaving 44 employees without a job.
HAUPPAUGE, NY — Premier Fixtures, LLC, a Hauppauge-based architectural woodwork & mill-work manufacturer, closed last week according to the New York State Department of Labor.
It closed on Sept. 11, and layoffs of 44 employees were expected to occur for the next two weeks from that date. "Plant closing" was the listed reason for the business' closure. Employees weren't notified until the date the business closed, according to the report filed to the Department of Labor, and they are not represented by a union.
