Smithtown Fire Chiefs Council Presents Scholarships

Smithtown Fire Chiefs Council President Ex-Chief Steve Fontana presented five $250 scholarships at their Jan. 8 meeting.

The scholarships are presented annually by the Fire Chiefs Council to students affiliated with the Town of Smithtown volunteer fire departments. The recipients and officers pictured, from left to right are: Council Vice President Chief Eugene Oliver of Hauppauge F.D., Ex-Chief William Theobalt of St. James F.D. accepting for his son William Theobalt, Chief Steven Sisino of Smithtown F.D. accepting for his daughter Gabrielle Lee Sisino, Donna Carrature of Hauppauge F.D. accepting for her son John Carrature, Ex-Chief Thomas Kriklava of Hauppauge F.D. accepting for his son Jonathan Kriklava, recipient John Bicocchi of Commack F.D., and Council President Steve Fontana of Commack FD.
