Snowfall Estimates Rise For Long Island
BREAKING: Enjoy temps in the mid-50s Thursday because snow is coming Friday.

Long Island is now expected to see 3-6 inches of snow Friday, according to the latest estimates from the National Weather Service.
The highest totals are expected in eastern Suffolk. There's still a slight chance the island will be completely spared from snow, but we wouldn't put any money on it.
The precipitation could start as plain rain Thursday night but it should turn to all snow by early Friday, the NWS says. The snow will likely end in the afternoon and then buckle up for a freezing weekend. Highs will be in the low-30s on Saturday and Sunday. The next chance for snow will come Monday night and Tuesday.
