HAUPPAUGE, NY — The Internal Revenue Service has issued a ruling in a case that could cost Long Island homeowners thousands of dollars in additional federal taxes.
They are residents who received grants to improve their backyard cesspools to help to clean up ground water, CBS2’s Carolyn Gusoff reported Tuesday.
