
Residents in the Hauppauge School District will vote on the district's $113,351,328 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 2.46 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.88 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Whiporwil School on 495 Hoffman Lane.
