Woman Wanted for Grand Larceny

Local authorities are looking for a woman who made purchases totaling several thousand dollars using a stolen credit card.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a woman who charged more than $6,000 on a stolen credit card earlier this month.

At approximately 10 a.m. on Aug. 7, a Louis Vuitton pocketbook was stolen from a vehicle parked in front of the 7-Eleven located at 140 Little East Neck in Babylon. Several hours later, a woman, accompanied by a man, used an American Express credit card that was in the stolen pocketbook to make several purchases totaling approximately $850 at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park. Additionally, $350 was charged at two West Babylon gas stations and the suspects were able to obtain a $5,000 cash advance.

The woman is described as black wearing light blue medical scrubs with a logo from either Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center or Southside Hospital. The man is described as black wearing a black “Heat” jersey with white shorts. The suspects were seen leaving the Tanger Outlet in a white SUV.
