Police Log: 7-Eleven Knifepoint Robber Arrested

Tuesday, Nov. 28
At 5 p.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered through a window and attempted to steal property from a Middle Drive home in Greenlawn. Nothing was taken, police say.

At 2:30 a.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a home on Middle Drive in Greenlawn and stole a safe that contained jewelry.

At 6:26 p.m., Phillip McCollum, 38, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery after police say he robbed 7-Eleven, located at 901 East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, at knifepoint and fled with cigarettes.
