Businesses Which Opened in Levittown in 2013 and What's Coming in 2014

Levittown saw a number of new businesses open in 2013, with a few more on the way for 2014. 

Most notably, 2013 saw the arrival of Long Island's first-ever Walmart Market, which celebrated its grand opening in October. 

Other businesses which opened this past year include the Harmony Early Learning Center, which replaced a vacant, run-down house on Center Lane, and a Verizon Cellular Sales store on Hempstead Turnpike. 

In 2014, Levittown residents can expect Hempstead Turnpike to look drastically different, with construction and grand openings expected at a new drive-through Starbucks at the former Rayco4 building, as well as a Zwanger Pesiri radiology practice at the site of the former Israel Community Center.

Healthy Plates Grill will also be a new addition to Levittown in 2014.
