Car Broken Into And Robbed: Levittown Crime Report

LEVITTOWN, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests in the Levittown area for the two-week period ending July 1.

All charges are merely accusations.

  • Children's clothes were stolen from Michael's Crafts, on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 17.
  • A man stole an Android tablet from IHOP, on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 19.
  • A man stole frozen groceries from Walmart Food Center, on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 19.
  • A man stole a pack of beer from 7-Eleven, on Jerusalem Avenue in Levittown, on June 19.
  • The passenger-side window of a car parked on Bayberry Lane in Levittown was shattered on June 26, and $5 was stolen from inside.
  • Clothing was stolen from Carters, on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on June 28.
  • Cesar Cruz, 62, of Westbury, was arrested on June 30 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot, located on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
