Division Avenue High Marching Band Ranks Second in State
Division Avenue High competitive marching band placed third at their first competition, score of 65.35 ranks the band second in state.

The Division Avenue High School competitive marching band placed third at their first competition in early September in Brentwood.
Under the direction of Michael Bastone and student drum majors Brandon Hoyt and Michael Mahoney, they scored 65.35. The score ranks the band second in the state out of the 12 bands in their class.
The marching band plans to practice throughout the season to improve their show in preparation for the finals competition at Syracuse University on Nov. 1. Their show “Puppet Master” is a fast-paced performance that offers the audience a whirlwind of visuals.
