Election Day, Blood Drive at Wisdom Lane and Governor’s Comedy Event

  • Reminder: Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.  Visit our Elections group for all stories related to the election, including Q&A’s with candidates. To check your voting eligibility and polling location, click here. There will be no school for students. 
  • The Levittown School District has released November lunch menus for schools. Read more here. 
  •  A blood drive will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 3 p.m. in the school cafeteria at Wisdom Lane Middle School. “Everyone who donates will be entered into a free raffle for a $25 Target Gift Card." 
  • Governor’s Comedy Club of Levittown is holding an “LOL Comedy Night” to benefit Last Hope Animal Rescue on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 which includes a delicious buffet dinner, dessert, complimentary soft drinks, coffee/tea and the comedy show – A cash bar will be available. There will be a 50/50 and large selection of gift basket raffle. More details can be found here.  
  • The Levittown Library holds Flu shots for seniors 60 and over on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is no out of pocket expense for the immunization for any senior citizen. On-going registration at the Reference Desk, until Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 9:00 p.m.
