Give Back This Holiday Season by Donating Blood

Levittown residents will have the chance to give back this holiday season through several local blood drives. 

Blood drives will take place at Lee Road Elementary School on Tuesday, Dec. 10 and at Abbey Lane Elementary School on Thursday, Dec. 12, 3:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Island Trees Library will also be holding a blood drive at 38 Farmedge Rd. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Every donor will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a pair of tickets to Superbowl 2014. Contact Anne Bauman for more info. at 731-2211.

In addition, Division Avenue High School held a blood drive on Nov. 14. A total of 104 units of blood were donated by the end of the school day, a mark that Division Avenue High School hasn't hit in the past two years, according to the school website.
