Levittown 2021-22 School Budget: What You Need To Know
The school budget vote is in-person on May 18. Here are some key facts to know before heading to the polls.
LEVITTOWN, NY — This year, Levittown residents will be voting in-person for the 2021-22 school district budget on May 18.
The coronavirus was not an acceptable reason to request an absentee ballot for this year's election, so the majority of the voting will be done in person. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The district has various polling sites. You can use this page on the district's website to find your polling place, based on your street.
The district's proposed spending plan for the 2021-22 school year is $232,482,693, which is an increase of 2.2 percent, or $5,048,552 over the current budget.

To fund the increase, the district proposes a tax levy of $149,140,845, up 1.95 percent from the current year's, which the district says is allowable under the tax cap.
