LEVITTOWN, NY — Firefighters were called to a Chinese restaurant in Levittown over the weekend after smoke was seen coming from the building.

The Levittown Volunteer Fire Department was alerted Saturday by Fire Com for smoke at Peking House on Jerusalem Avenue.

Firefighters entered the smoke-filled building and found something was left on the stove overnight, officials said. No flames were discovered and crews used fans to ventilate the smoke.
