Levittown Volunteer Fire Department held its annual 9/11 service Friday evening.

LEVITTOWN, NY — The Levittown Volunteer Fire Department held its annual 9/11 service Friday evening, remembering those who died on that tragic day, including the chief of the Levittown Fire Department, Ronald T. Kerwin, who was a lieutenant in FDNY Squad 288.
Firefighters also remembered the men and women suffering debilitating side effects from operating at ground zero, and those who died from associated diseases, including two of their own: firefighter Timothy Keller of Engine Company No. 7 and former Capt. Scott "Brutus" Johnston of Ladder Company No. 6.
Below are photos from the service.
