Coach David Radke said he recruited Alyssa in eighth grade, an exceptional softball player even then, where she has held a position on the varsity softball team ever since. Even though the athletic season was drastically shortened during the pandemic sports season, Alyssa did not fail to excel.

During the 2020-2021 school year, Alyssa's record was 13 and 2. She managed to strike out 200 batters. Additionally, during 9 of 13 wins, Alyssa pitched a no-hitter, a perfect game, a one-hitter and six two-hitters. She also helped the team to win the Nassau County Conference 1 title.

Alyssa, a junior, will be back on the mound during next season and is currently being recruited by Division 1 softball teams, Coach Radke said.

"I know she is looking forward to continuing her performance and hopefully will help to lead us to a title next year," Coach Radke said.
